Beach Weather in Elbow Beach, Paget Parish, Bermuda

Elbow beach is a quieter option for those wishing to escape the busy Horseshoe Bay. Behind the beach sits the now closed Elbow Beach Resort, a victim of the Covid lockdowns, it has been closed for several years. Whilst this empty resort might be off putting for some, the beach itself is well worth a visit.

Cafe Lido recently reopened and offers some great dining directly on the beach - though check if it remains open during the off season. Be aware they have a smart casual dress code and offer lunch Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 2.30pm, and dinner 6pm to 9pm. May want to make a reservation.

Beach Type

Elbow Beach is known for its powdery pink sand and gentle turquoise waters. The sand's unique color is due to a mixture of crushed coral, calcium carbonate, and tiny shells. The beach is mostly sandy with some areas of rocks along the shoreline. The presence of rocks and a nearby reef make this beach an excellent spot for snorkeling and diving since the fish prefer these habitats.
