Beach Weather in Las Cabanas Beach, El Nido, Philippines

Las Cabanas Beach is just a little further down the beach from Vanilla and Maremegmeg beaches. You can get here from El Nido town by taking a motorbike to tricycle for 10-15 minutes, ask to go to Vanilla beach.

Las Cabanas Beach is known for its fine, powdery white sand that feels soft underfoot. This type of sand is typical for many beaches in Palawan and is one of the reasons why they are so loved by tourists. Once you enter the water you'll find a rocky seabed and quite a lot of seaweed further out depending on the tide. There are nearby spots with rocks and coral reefs that provide pretty good opportunities for snorkeling and diving where you can observe a variety of marine life. Though for better snorkeling it's recommended to take one of the boat tours out to the nearby islands of Bacuit bay.
